Washington, day 12

On Wednesday we were going to have a museum day but after seeing the International spy museum we found out that most museums close at 5 pm, so we only had time with one. The spy museum was interesting but would have preferred less fiction and more facts. They had a whole section about James Bond, but they had some good sections in there as well. In the beginning you had to pick a new identity and try to remember your new name, age, destination, place of birth etc. for later when you would be tested. This was a measure of how good a spy you would be. I remembered all of mine. Need I say more? ;)

Since we couldn't go to any more museums that day we decided to go to Georgetown and eat by the river. Georgetown is the oldest part of Washington, even older than the city itself. This is also where John and Jacqueline Kennedy lived before he became president. The little town was pretty with a channel running through it and small cafés and boutiques. We ate by the river in a place that served really nice seafood. On the way home we stopped for some amazing gelato.
