Flagstaff

Our next stop was cool student town of Flagstaff. We instantly took liking to this small city and if it was because of the relaxed vibe or the fact it was a city full of students I don't know. Downtown Flagstaff was small and quiet with old buildings and beautiful architecture, and I regret that I didn't take more pictures of this western town. We had dinner at a hip BBQ place that served massive plates of different meat and a secret ingredient in the marinade (which, I'm pretty sure, was cinnamon). This place was located in the basement of a shopping mall and they had all kinds of funny stuff hanging on the walls. They had something called white trash Wednesdays (really curios what that's all about), gave us a licence plate as our food ticket and even had a menu for BBQ weddings. You can really feel the university vibe in this city since there are young folks everywhere and the university campus takes up a big part of the place. The views from downtown and the university campus are really pretty too, with green hills and mountains in the distance. I could see myself enjoying student life here.
