Manatee springs state park
On our way to Tallahassee up north we stopped at a state park called the Manatee springs. The name suggests there are a lot of manatees in this park but unfortunately we did not get to see any. I am very unfamiliar with this animal and I have no clue what they are called in Swedish. They seem like amazing creatures though. The springs where also amazing. There was crystal clear fresh water where you could take a swim and, although the water was freezing cold, we did. We saw some turtles and some deer and squirrels that where very brave and came up to us quite close. The place warned about a potential tic problem so we were very careful when walking on the paths. A couple of days later however, Josh found one on the back of his leg.
