Chattanooga

On our way to Nashville from Atlanta we stopped in Chattanooga at a place called "Lookout mountain". It consists of two beautiful sites called Ruby falls and Rock city. Ruby falls is a massive underground waterfall that you get to by taking an elevator underground and then walking almost one mile in a narrow cave. The guide told us some interesting facts about the history of the cave. For example, the man who discovered the waterfall was crawling down the cave, that was not higher than a couple of foot back then, for 7 hours before he could stand up!!! It was quite cold down in the caves but when we got to the waterfall it was all worth it. It was so beautiful, I haven't seen anything like it. There were also different colored light sources lighting up the waterfall which made it look even more spectacular.

After the seeing the waterfall we headed even further up the mountain to go to a place called Rock City. Here you can walk along a mountain path, sometimes over bridges and in between narrow passages of big rocks, until you get to a lookout spot from where you can see 7 different states (Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Virginia! North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama).
